The Healing Wheel
What you see here is what we refer to as a map or healing wheel.
Humans work well with maps as evidenced by the fact that we map out every domain we take an interest in, from the universe, stars, planets to continents, countries, cities from train lines and parks to buildings. So perhaps it makes sense to create a map to help us explore our own personal being, physical to psyche.
This is not a new concept, I would suggest that the old pantheon of gods in Ancient Greece, Rome, Celts, Egypt, Norse and many more could have been a detailed attempt to map out the human psyche and the myths old and newer a guide to navigate life.
More recently Carl Jung put forward his archetypes which are the basis of many teachings simplified into 4 main archetypes. We have taken inspiration from this and added more from other teachings and our own experiences to create something a little more complex but still very simple to follow. How we are funded
Everyone involved in putting this organisation together is still working full time in other industries. The funding currently comes from the charges for workshops, donations and subscriptions to the range of services we offer.
The aim is for us to create enough revenue to enable us to cover salary costs so we can take this vital work out into the community on a day to day basis including, schools and prisons. At the same time, it is our aim to keep all workshops affordable with a commitment to making a certain number of spaces available on workshops as bursaries for those who are experiencing financial hardship.
If you’re are in a position to donate and wish to do so, we guarantee 100% of all donations will go to bursary places.
